Hi All,
I have a few questions about creating a new Vcenter server and Moving the databases. Our current SQL server has too many DB's and at minimum we need to move vcenter to another sql server. That seems to be pretty straightforward however I was curious if I can Create a new vcenter server and move the database there? We are currently on Vcenter 5.1 and going to need to upgrade soon anyhow so was thinking of installing 5.5. On a similar note, I also have VMware View Linked Clone databases that are on the current Vcenter so would they be a separate move?? Can anyone shed a little light on this process?? Any suggestions or comments are welcome. Thank you!
