Does anyone know if ALL operational and update changes to the VCSA 6.7 Appliance and hosts can be completed using only the "vSphere Client"?
There are four methods listed below of how to access the VCSA and make changes. Most can be done from just the vSphere Client, but I have used all four in building out, hardening and updating our clusters.
We've had our IA team come in and make changes to implement Windows Authentication. Ever since this happened I'm restricted to just using this gui.
I'm trying to make some updates that require me to activate SSH, make the changes and then deactivate it. Can you do this from vSphere Client now? Everything I read says to log into a root account, enable SSH and then ssh into the device.

System hardening is required to keep your equipment safe. You just have to make sure you don't secure yourself out of your systems.
