Upon upgrading vCSA from 6.0u2 to 6.0u2a, we notices that the Platform Services Controller now requires ports 514 tcp and 1514 tcp to be open. According to VMware documentation, these ports are required for syslog. However, we didn't see these ports required on the PSC until the upgrade to 6.0u2a. Does anyone know why this requirement popped up with the u2a release? Did anyone else notice this?
