Hello.....Here is my environment:
3, ESX 5.5 hosts, using vCenter 5.5 (but they are using built in storage, not shared storage). I am buying an IP SAN, and want to enable shared datastores. More importantly however, I want to create a new datacenter/cluster using vSphere 6.
The challenge I have however, is that I only have these 3 hosts. What is the best way to utilize the new IP SAN, and move the VM's/Hosts to this new infrastructure? My current vCenter server is a physical machine. I want to create a vCenter VM on the new cluster.
Any suggestions? The hosts are obviously using standard switches.
